A little bit about myself........ 

 

My name is "Samantha May" I trained as a florist 7 years ago , this was prompted from my love and passion of flowers. A hobby soon become a career, which then became a business and Samantha May Floristry was founded by myself in 2012. 

 

While I achieved a distinction in City & Guilds Advanced National Certificate in Floristry at Writtle College, I worked at the renowned Claridges Hotel in Mayfair London. I then had the incredible opportunity 4 years ago to work for McQueens in London, based onsite at Claridges Hotel and offsite with the Events Team. Working for Clients such as Mulberry, Vogue, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Canadian Embassy, Film Junkets, Celebrity /VIP Party's / Events & Weddings.... to name but a few. 

 

While I ran a successful and flourishing business in Essex, by working in London 2 days a week along side some of the most incredible creative florists in the industry, this meant I was always up to date with the latest trends and styles happening within the Floral Industry, which I was then able to bring to my own individual style and design of flowers. 

 

I have a wealth of experience working in many venues across Essex and London. These have included; 5* Hotels, Lavish Ball Rooms, Castles, Barns, Stately Homes, Marquees and small intimate venues.

Samantha May Floristry offers a one to one bespoke Wedding Flower service, tailored to work closely with you every step of the way, starting with your initial consultation.  From this consultation, creating a personalised flower/colour mood-board and a detailed wedding flower proposal, which reflects and captures your individual personality in my wedding floral designs and more importantly bringing your wedding ideas and dreams to reality for your special day.

 

No one wedding costs the same. Cost  is dependant on the types of flowers used, quantity and size of your designs. We do not give a price guide for this reason. As our service is bespoke to you  we aim to work within your budget to create stunning wedding flowers for your special day.
